Thrifty Car Rental questions

I haven't used Thrifty in years and years. I have a reservation with them on my next trip. I'm a Bluechip member and my credit card is on file with the reservation.

My questions:
Does Thrifty have an outside check-in booth and can I bypass the inside line and go straight to the outside booth (like you can with some of the other companies)?

My belief is Thrifty and Dollar are same company. Don't know if Thrifty has express, but I always use Dollar and use the express. Never any problems, yet.

I am Dollar Express and I just used them in Las Vegas on my last trip. I noticed that half the express booth was Dollar and the other half was Thrifty. The guy in the booth said he was working both companies, so I would say that you just head to the Dollar Express booth and you should be fine.

if you haven't used them in years ,you may want to update your credit card with the latest expiration date----will save you time and speed up the process-----that way you can bypass the check-in and go directly downstairs to the car area

I just returned from my trip. If you use the BlueChip card # and all your credit card info is correct, etc., then you can go directly to the outside booth. There is a video screen outside the booth that will have your name and car stall # on it. Proceed to that stall and your paperwork will be on front seat......very very easy.
