So I am searching the various travel websites on Sunday, checking on airfares from MSP to Vegas for my September trip and my usual airline Sun Country has RT fares of $339. Last night I checked Travelocity and they had an airfare for Sun Country at $279 RT. I jumped on the Sun Country website to book the flights, and their website quoted me $339. I then looked at Expedia and Orbitz.....$339. I went back to Travelocity and they were still quoting a $279 fare, so I booked it...score! I checked this morning and Travelocity had the rate back up to $339...talk about timing. I seriously doubt that I will see a better direct RT airfare out of MSP between now and September; unless it's with Spirit Airline and from what other people have said on this forum...I'd rather not fly with them.
