TSA Nudeosope OVERKILL at McCarran, especially if you are a Woman!

I have an artificial hip and the new scanners save me from a very vicious pat down every time I travel. I request the scan now whenever it is available. They literally save me over 10+ minutes.
Because of a knee replacement, I have to always be pat down by security. I am one of those who felt this became much more invasive during the last year, so I am happy to see a body scanner which is much better than the pat downs. To each his/her own.

There was NO line to go thru the Metal detector, but the (bitchy) Amazon woman TSA was blocking it,
and sent Me & 3 other women thru the Nudeoscope. I looked at her and asked WHY are we waiting in Line to go thru this (Nudeoscope) when there's No line there, (pointing to the metal detector)

She immediately got bitchy defensive and started the "Pat-Down" Alternative talk,
All the while telling us 4 women, backing up the Line, that they do this at ALL THE AIRPORTS.

I told her..............NO THEY DON'T!!! I GO THRU LOTS OF OTHER AIRPORTS & THEY ONLY OCCASIONALLY DO THIS, (nudeoscope)
BUT HERE AT MCCARRAN ITS THE RULE, INSTEAD OF THE EXCEPTION!

You can't defeat a determined Fife-ette, CLV.

Sorry you had to run into that one.

I havent been asked to go thru the nudeoscope at McCarran but I have noticed the last few times thru that the staff was kinda rude. Last time I went the person went thru one of the walkways and they told me to go next. So when I tried to go thru the same one the dude putting people yelled at me to go to the other and told me you try that again and we may have to do a patdown on you. So I told him whatever turns you on I aint got nothing to hide and yelled me go thru here before I change my mind.

I really wanted to tell him where to go but I decided I really did want to go home.

I will tell you this if one of those woman there want to see my package I don't have to go thru the nudeoscope. Will show it anytime! Ain't no shame to my game!

By the way when are guys going back on tour.
Last time I was at McCarran I refused the Nudeoscope and went for the pat down...screw them! Seven years ago I broke both bones in my lower left leg. Ortho surgeon had to use 13 screws and two metal plates to put things back together. I usually do not set the metal detectors off (I think they used titanium alloy), but I am sure that the body scan would make my leg look like an erector set. I don't want to spend 10 minutes explaining to these morons what happened and having to show them my scars(had to do that once; never again). My question that I addressed to the TSA agent doing the pat down was " Who is responsible for calibrating and maintaining the body scan equipment, and how often is it checked to be sure that the x-ray radiation emitted is withing safe limits?" I got a blank stare and a shoulder shrug from the agent. Harrassing and berating a 80 some year old grandmother who was wearing an adult type diaper makes no sense and certainly does not make me feel any safer(happened at another airport earlier this year). CLV has a legit gripe.

Glasses can affect your vision; especially when they have been emptied several times.......
I still find it hard to believe that there are that many so-called adults posting here that just don't get it. Here, once again, are the facts- you will be scanned or scoped or patted down if you fly on commercial aircraft. Period. This procedure is for your protection. Getting upset will not change the policy. Did any of you complainers ever think about the others who must wait while you rant about a policy that you know is in place and will be enacted every time you board a commercial aircraft? All you think about is yourself and your perceived treatment. Get over yourself. If you find that you won't accept reality, than find another way to travel. I and millions of other air travelers are tired of your childish behavior.
I love my daily dose of Dr. Strangelove!!

A "dose" of reality never hurt anyone. Enjoy.
