AAA discounts generally can't be used with other discounts, so usually no. I book 40-60 days of rentals a year and have yet to find a time when the AAA rate was the cheapest. Hertz and Avis generally are much more than the smaller companies in Vegas so getting a 15% discount doesn't help when the rates are 40% higher.
Try www.carrentals.com That is the site I think works best. The thing is you need to check constantly. I have a 28 day rental coming up. It went from $679 to $567, then down to $535. Today its back to to $586. I find rates are usually cheaper in the middle of the night.
