What would the walk from Westgate to the Hertz location on East Sahara be like?

The Hertz address is 1815 East Sahara and Mapquest lists the distance from Westgate to be a little over 2 miles utilizing Joe Brown to Sahara. It will be late morning/early afternoon and I wouldn't be pulling luggage. What would the walk be like in that area? Would it be kind of a sketchy walk? I could always take a cab/Uber/Lyft from Westgate or even the airport.

I'd suggest taking the Sahara Express Bus for $2.

Two miles in the Vegas noon time sun ? Seriously?

At a minimum you should leave your luggage with Westgate and get it later.

2 miles in the Vegas sun wouldn't be an issue. Part of the draw of Vegas is the weather. I could always put a couple new tennis balls on my walker??
