I rent a car just about every time I visit LV.
However, your situation sounds like using shuttles, walking, and taking a few cabs might
work best for you.
There are a few folks here who don't rent a car.
Either they don't have a license or they feel they are on vacation and don't want to put up with traffic, parking, and other car-type difficulties.
I know when I'm in NYNY I never drive.
I use cabs and car service folks.
The other side of the equation is
you probably will save money if you rent a car
and you will have more freedom to roam around town.
BTW, I was stopped by a cop on Joe Brown
going back to the airport. He said I was doing
35 in a 25-mile zone.
Using my immense charm, I told him a few cop-type jokes and he left me off with a warning. He did ask me if I had been drinking.
I said, "Does water count?"
