When did Alamo change

When did alamo change and not show prices with taxes included? Just trying to reserve a car for vacation in March and can't believe the high prices and the changes.

One of the things I HATE most about the rental cars in LV is paying double the amount of the rental after they throw in all the taxes. You'd think they'd have the darn rental facility paid for by now!!!! I feel your pain, but I actually got a better deal from Alamo than anyone else. I am paying $291 for a midsize from 12/20 to 12/31--including taxes.
The prices went down from a week ago. Last week it was about $340 for my week for nascar. now I got $235. That's $30 less the cheapest Hotwire!
Alamo's new web site is terrible. Yesterday I booked a car for $131. Later on I went to view the reservation, and it said $140. It raised the price after I received a confirmation.

I also have not received any confirming e-mail.

So I booked it again on the Costco web site at $131, which means I will have to go to the counter instead of the kioske.

Darn, Alamo has been consistently great - even after they raised prices somewhat - and now we get this. A classic case of if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

*Edit: I called Alamo and the heavy foreign-accented agent confirmed the lower rate (at least I hope so - very hard to understand).

has anyone had a problem booking alamo with the acg coupon for one free day? When i go to book it states "supplied coupon cannot be validated by the pricing service"???? didnt want to bother and call yet since i was planning on booking now and rebooking when it drops but looks like i will not be able to do that with them when using this coupon. Trip isnt till then end of February so I have time.
***an update I waited till the new year and on jan 2nd it allowed me to book my alamo reservation using the american casino guide coupon for 1 free day bringing my 5 night rental to 122 bucks out the door with a compact car. Still seems to be the cheapest and easiest company to use in vegas in my opinion

The rental facility will never be paid for
