When is the SWA anniversary?

If memory serves me correctly, last year I got my best summer rates during their anniversay sale which took place sometime in spring or early summer. Any one have an idea when that will happen this year (approx)??

I HOPE they add some more/better fares soon. I watch DING everyday.......
Prices have really JUMPED lately. Not looking good unless you booked on rates awhile back.

When they Do have a good sale, I buy trips in advance & just cancel any I don't use, and reuse
those fares for the next year. I'm good at recycling. lol

CLV: I've noticed as well that the prices are higher than they used to be but isn't that partly due to the inclusion of taxes/fees that they're now required to include in the advertised fare? Also, I seem to recall a couple of weeks ago an article that SWA bumped most if not all of their fares by $10 for rising fuel costs.

fredo, The new inclusion of fees didn't change the cost. I did some comparisons right away.

It was AFTER the inclusion........like a few weeks later, they've bumped wayyyy more than $10.

Flights I used to grab for $59/69 are now $100/102 on average.

Many $89-99 flights are $222. I mean BIG jumps!

I booked my (one way) NOLA flight for $188, and when I went to book another a week later?
$428 ONE WAY That was the Cheapest! The rest were 500 + Insane.

Ding has been Skimpy! Hardly anything going. You really gotta check Everyday whenever the icon is on.

The lowest I've seen on SW one way Phx to NOLA is $214. Today, the fare's run from $219 to $230. I was able to grab roundtrip last month on Delta for $240. Even if I have to pay to check a bag, I'm still saving.

A couple weeks ago during SW's 25% off sale, I paid $99 for Phoenix to Vegas (roundtrip).
