Airfares To Asia Going Up Because Of Coronavirus

Usually, the cheapest fares to Asia and Southeast Asia have layovers in mainland China.  Browsing through the booking sites tonight, I realized they removed China Eastern, China Southern, Air China and the more premium Cathay Pacific (Hong Kong based) from the search results. Even if you didn't fly these cheap airlines, they helped hold the prices down of other carriers flying in the same region.  

Kind of frustrating, isn't it? Now that there are only so many ways to get there, airline revenue management systems are pushing up prices.
