🚢🚢 How do you book your cruises? Do you only cruise via casino offers?

Today, we talk a "bit" about using a travel agent.

What are your best cruise tips?

We never use any casino offers for our cruises.  We cruise once a year and use a large internet provider Crucon cruise outlet. We've used them the past 10 or so cruises and find they have the best prices and besides the offers the ships are giving they have alot of additional perks that no one else can give.  I believe they purchase large blocks of rooms from the cruise lines to achieve the additional perks they can offer.

Is there a specific reason why you do not use your casino cruise offers? I often wonder about this. I tend to notice a lot of people *love* the casino offers. 

FWIW, a friend who does casino cruises a lot told me that perks increase with the frequency of cruising.  As with moving up the casino tier ladder the more one gambles, cabin accommodations and other things 'improve' the more one takes cruises (and gambles) with the particular casino company.   She does *love* the casino cruise offers. 

My wife does the booking, and she goes through the cruise line.  I don't know of any particular reason to book that way, other than that's her game and I stand aside while she plays it!

THe casino offers we used to receive years ago weren't very good.  We are mainly Boyd players at Saphire level and we don't receive any offers.  It starts at the next level Emerald.

I've really got to start getting in on the gambling/cruise deals. They comp for penny video poker, right?
