Matching Your Hotel Status to Caesars Diamond Status

Everything you wanted to know.... even if you do NOT currently have hotel status.

HOTEL STATUS MATCH TO CAESARS DIAMOND (EVEN IF YOU DON’T HAVE STATUS)

Have you done this? Any other ideas?
This will probably also lead to a few more articles. Such as, how to "optimise" an IHG (Intercontinental) Ambassador Status purchase.

We have done enough cruises with Celebrity Cruise Lines to have achieved Elite status with them.  This got us Gold Mlife at MGM properties.  Caesers will then match with their Diamond card status.  The only catch is I have to renew the card annually.

Years ago Venetian would confer their Gold? status if you presented a Harrah's Diamond Card.  Mainly it gave access to one of their limited access lounges.  It was a nice place to relax but otherwise not much there.  I haven't returned to Ven/Pal due to their scent (can't handle it), so I don't know if that is still the case.

We do mostly Princess, but I'm trying to convince my wife to start going on Celebrity more. Sadly, comparable cabins are often at a 50% premium.

Candy, when we were in Ven/Pal last year, the scent wasn't nearly as bad.  It's amazing the casinos actually pump strong perfume into their buildings.  Even when Aria was only a couple of years old, they started doing it, and also the Crystals shopping area.  It's consistently strong, so Aria/Crystals get nothing from us (not that we can afford anything in Crystals!).

Thanks, Tommy.  I may check Ven/Pal out again just to see.  They sure lost me as a customer years back.  It was so perfumy, like "old lady powder" smell.  I almost couldn't tolerate Mandalay Bay's very strong cocoanut scent.  I don't go there much anymore either.   And overall I'm not that sensitive to scents!

My wife is extremely sensitive to smells, so the scent gives her a bad headache.  But it even offends me, and I'm not sensitive myself.  I don't get the attraction, given the Strip casinos (usually) have good air circulation and purification systems.

I've never been bothered by the scent, but I've also never understood the appeal of Ven/Pal, either. It's just such a monstrosity (in a city of monstrosities).

IMHO, the most redeeming quality of Venetian/Palazzo is breakfast al fresco at Bouchon Las Vegas.

We just like to property hop, so we go there - as long as it isn't too smelly.
