Thanks Westie for the very nice report as well as for the great photos and sorry that your trip was vastly negative since you said that you lost 1/4 of what you won in your last two trips. I do know that those things happen but I'm jusst sorry that it was vastly just one losing session after another. And it's quite a bit annoying when you get at least a few Quad Deuces and it still doesn't end up helping much financially.

And I think that it's kind of nice that people are recognizing you and Ann and really appreciate (as I do as well) your taking the time and great effort to put these reports together and then posting them.

Once again I made the mistake of reading this late at night and then raiding the kitchen because of all the great food photos and descriptions.
Love your TRs Westie. Thanks for taking the time to post all that information.
Super Report, Great Photos, Great Detail

Great report Westie. Are you a timeshare owner? If not, do they just do rentals? Are they expensive?

Have enjoyed many of the places you and Ann go to.

I know the question was for Westie, but you can rent the rooms there just like any other room in town. Connie and I stayed there once. Other times I've been inclined to do so, but it seems we can always stay for less at SouthPoint and so we wind up doing just that. The only thing we thought was a downside was that you can hear if the people above or below you if they are filling their hot tub. Otherwise they were very nice, and just a short walk to SoutPoing for gambling or dining. They also wanted us to sign up for a timeshare presentation by offering $100 that could be played thru at SouthPoint. I told them I wouldn't do it if it was $1000 and got a pretty sour face in response, but they let it drop. He he he...

I agree with Eurotraveler. I checked a number of hotel discount websites in the past and the rates were more than we could have stayed at the South Point. For this past trip, I was able to negotiate a deal with an owner.

Great report, as always. Though I think I gained two pounds while reading it because all the pictures of food drove me to keep eating leftover cookies. You two eat at the best places!
