34 Hours 23 Minutes and 50 Seconds in Las Vegas.

I started the stopwatch on my i phone when I stepped off the Jetway and stopped it when I stepped on the Jetway to go home.

I had an expiring free flight on SWA, an offer for a couple free nights at the MSS, and a deal on a show, so I blew into town like a hurricane.
My sweetie was stuck in work hell, so this was a shot solo trip. First flight out, last flight back the next day, I couldn't wait!

Monday 2/28

We land right around 9:45 AM and i grab my backpack and head for the rental shuttle. For $49 (with all the taxes and fees)
I got a corolla, I was happy.

My first stop in Blueberry Hill for some french toast. It's so good you don't need syrup. I settle up and head to the Gold Coast.
I put a $20 in a DDB $1 game and I play six hands and end up $15. I cash out and head to the booth to get my MRB $10.
It's on the card and I hit the same machine and cash out with an extra $20, nice!

In the car and off to TI. I've never had a card here so I was ready to give them some play. I sign up and "win" $10 of FSP
so now I'm off to find a machine. I like looking good (from the casino's POV) when I sign up for a card, so it's strictly slots for this
first day of play. I hit a $1 Double Diamond machine and throw in $100. My free play nets me another $100 and I pound that max bet button for the next hour and I cash out at $150. I take that to the high limit room and play the $5 DD (way over my regular limit) for a while, earn a bunch of points and cash out at $50. So I'm basically even at this point. !

In the car (I'll be back TI!) and off to the Riv to do the MRB FSP. I wander and see a triple diamond. I play through the $50 and it loads up my $30 and I hit for $250!!!! It was time to run downtown.

Park at the MSS and get a room on the Fremont side. Decent room, it was NOT the Augustus tower room I had on the last trip. But I didn't care. I took it easy for a little while and eventually decided to do the downtown MRBs. At the El Co I walked with $60 from the DDW game and the FSP netted me $10. At the 4Q the FSP netted me $20 and I picked up another silver strike. At the GG I went to do the pancakes for 25 points and I hit 4 Aces!!!

I like being in Las Vegas.

I snag a falafel from the place by the Beauty Bar and hang out in the room for a couple of hours.

Before I hit the show it's back to TI and that lovely $1 DD machine. $100 and an hour later I have $100 in credits left! I've put almost 1300 credits on my card in the first day, I'm hoping that's enough to get us a free room in the future. I hit the Kiosk to see if I had any stuff on my card. A free T-shirt and $100 free play, I'll take it! I take a $20 (and the t-shirt) and head to the High Limit room to the $5 DD and I walk with $400!! Off to the show.

I parked at Paris, no way I was gonna screw with the Miracle Mile.

Picked up a good deal for a Peep Show ticket for $42 after all the fees and stuff, so I went and saw that. It was a pretty good show, but the seat was terrible, as in uncomfortable. The arm rests were at chest height so there was no way to get comfortble. Oy...

So I put some points on the TR card and headed over to Cosmo. I really like this place. We booked a wraparound suite for early May!! I had some secret pizza and bought a $5 piece of art from the Vend-o-matic machine. It's a pretty cool pinhole photo (my sweetie loves it).

So I hop in the car and head to the MGM to take down the Lions Share machine. $150 and I play for forever. So long I'm bored... 1500 points on my fancy new pearl card and I head back downtown.

I bounce all over the place. Down $100 at craps at the GG. Up $200 from VP at GN. Down $100 at LIR at Fitz. Up $150 from a 50c DD at Fitz. Drink drink gamble drink drink wander around. I did this until 4 am. then bed.

Tuesday 3/1

I had hoped to sleep in, that's why I got the room away from the interstate/railroad, BUT there is construction going on outside my window and it started at 7 AM. Two trucks and a front loader backing up constantly. BEEP BEEP BEEP. Screw it, I'm up.

Off to the GG for my free pancakes. They gave me two (coupon says three) but I didn't complain. I had fruit and some hot tea to help with my minor hangover, I started feeling pretty good.

So I hop in the car and hit the Sahara for the $40 for $50 coupon. I play green on roulette and hit!

Back downtown I bounce around and play, nothing but losses. $40 at the GN. $40 at the Fitz. $40 at the GG. $60 at MSS ouch.

I head back to the room and the maid was in it cleaning, which I thought was strange because I ALWAYS use the do not disturb sign.
Luckily she was honest and didn't touch my money or valuables. I "won" around $1500 right there...

Anyway it was getting to be around 4 and my flight out was at 6:45 so I headed back in the direction of the airport and stopped at the Gold Coast. They had a 9X reels day so I played around with a $20 and walked after making a few thousand bonus points.

Drop off the car and head to the airport. SWA's computers are all down. I get a handwritten security document and head to the gate. Eventually I get a real boarding pass and we are told the flight will be delayed two hours. Oy.

I get some food, play some games on my phone, and eventually we board and I get home.

I would have come home up $12, but the flight delay had me spending $20 on food. So I went home down $8 (EVERYTHING included, car, show ticket, taxes, fees, food, and (the big one) gambling) .

That was one hell of a trip for $8
Very nice! Thanks for the report and I do think that your play should generate some nice future offers!

there are not a lotta places where you can blow into town and do so much in a day and a half. That said, I'm too old to do that and my trips creep up toward 4-5 days. Thanks for the TR!
Stayed at MSS a few months ago and awoke to beep beep and loud trucks filling up gas tanks early in the mornnig am as well...... Love Triple 7 and Microbrews and casino ambience but wasnt happy camper that day

way to stick with your gameplan,,nice TR!

WOW! You really covered a lot of ground. A good example of traveling to LV alone.
