Whoo hoo! We’ll be expecting another fun trip report....
Thanks black jack, trip is just a week away. Viva Las Vegas. Got luggage out of shed ,set up in our Sun Room, start packing tolietries, scripts, snacks, socks, undies etc., save hanging clothes until 1 hour before depature, am I ready to go, YES. Will take Super Shuttle to & from Smithville, Tx to Austin, Bergstrom South Terminal, Allegiant round trip, staying at TheD fully comped Sept 24-Oct 1. $200 comped food, $300 + free slot & VP. Personal Sedan to & from airport to TheD. Celebrating anniversary on Sept 29, 2001, married at The Little Chapel by the Courthouse, stayed at Fitzgeralds. Will do Trip Report after we return from trip, or deadline by the first week of October. Will relax & get ready for Super Trip.
may possibly bump into you-----headed out sept 26 and have 2 nites comp at the aquarius in laughlin---then---4 nites comp at mss------the way changes are going with boyd properties i will be looking to get established at another down-town property and plan to "seed" the D-----plan is to give them some decent play on fri 28 and sat 29------i am a video-poker player and will most likely play at their 8/5 bp progressives at their upstairs bar-----look for a 75 year old guy with a red UNLV baseball cap----if you spot me ,do say hello---
have been going to vegas twice a year for 45 years-----the last 20 years have been able to get free rooms from my play and even airfare using bonus miles from credit cards-----looks like you are a bit heavier player than i seeing an 8 day room comp along with food comp and slot play----what is your game?

Oooh, I'm a jealous wreck, Bobby. Love reading your getting ready for trip details...isn't the devil in those? Ha. How nice to be celebrating your anniversary, 'specially since you were married there. Love your "Little Chapel by the Courthouse...LOL! We fly to Vegas Oct. 27th, husband going for the SEMA show, our friend and I for the...gambling! Then we turn around and go again for Thanksgiving week, husband stringing along, to get away from the job, I guess. He usually won't turn loose of work, so I'm glad...I think I slipped that second one in on him when he wasn't looking.
I can't wait to read your TR on this upcoming trip. Best part of most trips is looking forward to it. I'm looking forward to yours now!
I'll be checking into the 4 Queens Tuesday in the early evening and checking out around noon Friday as a birthday present to myself. A comped room and $80 free play. I'll be spending a lot of time at the bars playing VP. I hit a royal on my birthday there last year, and hope to repeat that! I was there in May and hit another royal on the same machine! There's only one other casino that I've hit two royals at - the South Point - but they weren't on the same machine.

Duke wife & I are mostly video poker players double double bonus poker .25 to $1, some slots, learning craps, I will be easy to spot 78 skinny legs talking to everyone & with an attractive tall lady with long beautiful hair. Bobby, I play Double Bonus at the 4 Queens. It's the only place in Las Vegas I've found that pays 9/7 on a full house/flush in that particular game. Most of them in other casinos are 9/6, 8/6 or worse. The progressives on quads start at $62.50 for 5-K, $100.00 for 2,3,4, and $200.00 on aces.
I know all about royal slumps. The closest casinos to my home are in Cripple Creek, CO. I've never hit a royal up there. I've hit a royal in Black Hawk, CO, one in Reno, one on a cruise to the Bahamas, and 10 in Las Vegas. I love Las Vegas!
