8 Days in Paradise pt 3

Sunday I got up early and did what everybody does in Las Vegas I ran up to LV Blvd turned right and ran out to the "Welcome to Las Vegas" sign, snapped a pic on my cell phone and ran back. Back at the Wyndam my wife cooked up some bfast eggs and off we drove to the M.

She wandered around for a bit and found a slot she wanted to play. I sat down 1 machine away at something called "godzilla". In goes the 20 tap, tap, bang up $150. on another penny slot playing max bet. I think it was 2.40 again. Wandered around the M and eventually gave the whole thing back to them. But wait there's a craps game over there with "my people" at it. Namely a bunch of unsavory looking types. Kind of unusual for the M but what the heck. 45 minutes later I'm up $200. The worst looking guy in the crowd was a shooter. I hit a couple numbers but this guy was on fire. Nice to see once in a while.
I grabbed a sandwich at the Vig deli my wife had a salad. Man, I was stuffed. Reuban and fries and a salad $30. No drinks.

After lunch/dinner we went back to the Wyndam for a couple hrs of pool time then off to the Hard Rock to see BB King and Tedeshi/Trucks. Great show/concert if your a "blues" fan. BB King is 87 but he has an awesome 9 pc band with him and his voice is still pretty big. Susan Tedeschi sounds like Bonnie Rait on steroids what a voice; Derek Trucks can play guitar like...I don't know what.. but he's damn good. They have an 11 piece band and they rocked "The Joint"

Oh by the way, before the concert we sat down at some slots and I know you think I'm lying by now but I hit another $150. on a penny slot. I didn't note the game, and it wasn't bang bang win; but it was on my 1st or 2nd 20. Believe me no one is more amazed than me.

One other note about the Hard Rock. The crowd is, generally speaking, very young. And they have that ReHab party at the pool. I have never seen so many really scantily clad and obviously drunk young girls in one place. I thought my head was gonna explode or my eyes catch fire. Haven't these young-uns heard of a beach cover up? There was eye candy there for my wife too just so you don't slap me with the raceist, sexist, bigoted, homophobe thing. You might as well throw drunk glutten in with it.

I was gonna cover our THEHotel adventure in this edition but it turned out to long and my big miss on Spot the Hooker is on Friday.
More to follow.

Interesting! Thanks and please keep 'em coming!

And yes, the Hard Rock does tend to attract a very young and partying crowd.
