Thanks for answering my questions
Have eaten at Mortons in other cities. 1to1 comps would make Mortons a good food option if it holds.
If I get an offer I like, I might have to take a chance if its in the Claridge. Wife thought Claridge was like walking around in a vacant building.
I read that CET was doing away with all gambling in the Claridge and all the area in WWW around the buffet.(cost cutting)
I guess I have to practise being cheerful when I go in the Diamond Lounge.
You were right on about the crowds at the Borgata. Last 3-4 times I have been there (Sat. and Sun.) couldn't tell their business was down.Borgata was more crowded than most strip casinos are on Sat. and Sun.
I think you made the right choice with your $7.00.

Here is the choice,
How do you feel if:
Do you give $7.00 you really need to a con artist
Don't give $7:00 disposable cash to someone who really needs it.

If I did the first I fell foolish.
If I did the second I don't want to be me.
Better to be a little foolish and stay someone I want to be.

You don't know if you gave the money to the con artist or to someone who needed it but you do know you made the right choice.

congrats on the winning/even trip

sorry about tod. makes you enjoy every day.

agree about the $7. i/we all fritter that away regularly when on a gamboling trip. i always
give the guys collecting for the poor/homeless/whatever on the strip. i ask them if it's a
scam, and they tell me it's for the people who have no place to go and need help. i hope
your girl got home safe and didn't have any repercussions from who knows who. life's short.
enjoy!

"Liz told me that Todd, my forever masseuse was diagnosed stage 4 brain cancer and sold his Camero as he can’t see anymore- he’s got 3 kids and a wonderful attitude- remains positive- This guy is something else, boy-ish, healthy—and he never aged in the 15/20 years I know him. So shocking."

So SAD. Gawd it happens too much! My dry cleaners lady (50ish) asked me for some Tylenol one
day, and I gave her some. She was complaining of an awful headache. Next thing I hear, shes gone.

Lady-Tech who used to do my yearly bone density scans........one year shes not there, so I asked about her. Same brain- thing, gone.

Very sad, and sure seems to happen too much.

The usual excellent, interesting trip report!! Thanks N
Kudos for giving $7 to the woman.
And she had the grace to express appreciation...she needed it.

So sorry about your spa guy with the cancer...we just never know. Hope his positive 'tude gives him a boost.
Nice AC report, JM!!!

Even is better than...

Wish I could have some spare time to gamble.

Had to cancel 3 trips in a row.

This is crazy week around here.

Sorry to hear about your masseur.
Hope he pulls through.

This brain cancer seems to be on the rise.
I hope it's not connected to cell phones.

Anyway, sounds like a fun trip!!

Thanks for writing!!!
