Anniversary trip

Last month we made our annual trip for our anniversary trip. This one seems like a blur but I'll do my best!

We left Austin on the afternoon nonstop flight, on time, thanks SWA. Our regular driver from presidential, Sean was waiting for us at baggage claim. Soon we were off to Paris for a 4 might comped stay. This would be our first time to use the diamond check in. We checked in and the lady at the counter said happy birthday to hubby and happy anniversary to us, then reached down and grabbed 2 yummy looking desserts. She then told us how to get the other perks of our offer and how to get my diamond dinner voucher. We were given the absolute best view room we ever had, red room 2717' if was a front and center view of the Bellagio fountains. We were hungry so we scarfed down one of the desserts, some chocolate mousse thing, it was really good, then we were off to use our Groupon for burger brasserie. Good meal as always, enjoy the line cut perks of diamond! After we ate we went to the diamond lounge for a quick drink. We picked up our free play coupons and in had the bright idea of using this free money on the $5 top dollar machines. Hubby and I split the $125 and won basically nothing. Off to PHo for some high card flush (which they've changed the way they deal it since my last visit in nov.) and I finally hit a nice hand that paid $800. If anyone remembers on one of our trips last year we played this and everyone at the table had stacks of black chips while in had my a$$ handed to me. I decided to cash out with $600, then off to the ABC for diet dr pepper and diet 7up for the room. Love the fridges in paris. After depositing stuff in the room, hubby declares that he only wins at tables at Paris so we head down for some 3 card. We both buy in for $200 and play for several hours and finally decide it's 3am at home and we're tired. We cash out with our buy ins so our first day we didn't piddle too much away. As we leave the table hubby said he wants to go run a hundy through the $5 machine again. Some plays for a few minutes and gets the bonus, not a big one so he plays it some more and gets the bonus again. On his 3rd try he hits a bonus an then the 2x, he wins $1650, his first w2g ever. Funny thing, I'd had a dream a week or so before our trip that one of us got a w2g. He got his money and played through his original hundred. Off to bed to lock the w2g and his winnings in the safe. Day 1, a good day.

Up a bit later than usual, our first day we usually was up around 7, we actually slept til 8. We got up and dressed then went to the coffee shop at Bellagio for breakfast. Thank you gold card for the lune cuts as the line was pretty long. After a yummy egg white omelette for me and the 3 egg bfast for hubby, we were off to the $1 top dollar machines hubby usually has luck at. First we stopped and took a few pix of the year of the horse display, which I personally thought was weird. We played our dollar machines, not doing much so hubby said "I wonder where the $5 machines are" (oh no......I've created a $5 monster!). We found a bank of them and he told me which machine to play and he sat down at another machine. I was down $200 quickly and i said no more for me so I took my mimosa and moseyed to some quarter machines. I went back, hubby still playing $500 when boom, he gets the bonus again. This one paid $900 so he went ahead and cashed out. Not a bad morning. We decided to go to Caesars, why, we never win at Caesars. We wandered for a bit, I found a quarter top dollar and played awhile, cashing out $25 up so I guess I can't say I don't win at Caesars anymore. We tracked down their high limit slot room...why? tp see if they had $5 top dollar. They had one machine. In went a hundy.....no bonus, in went another hundy, bonus, small but it kept him playing then boom another bonus, this one for $950. He wisely cashed out and now HE could say he's finally won money at Caesars. So far it's a very good day for hubby......until......the cooler we like to call HARRAHS!

Let the losing begin. We were told that Harrahs now had high card flush so we went to play, it didnt take kong to lose our $200 buy ins. Sad to say, the daytime dealers are terrible at Harrahs, I noticed this in November, and this trip just reminded me more, not to play @ Harrahs during the day. So of coursem we're off to find the high limit room for hubby's new $5 habit while I found a $1 seven and stars. He went through $300 pretty quickly and declared Harrahs a dud.....no more gambling at Harrahs. Back to paris so I could bet a little on Oklahoma winning the national championship (no pressure Bob Stoops) and to go rest a bit before heading to Wynn for our anniversary dinner.

Dinner details tomorrow.....and the 1,000,000 slot machine....Not a mil per pull but it said $1,000,000 on it!
Thanks for the trip report so far. Nice hits on those slots!
