April 19 - 26, Ballys and Palace Station

Yes smokey is doing better. Gets his multiple stitches out next week!!! Thanks for all the well wishes for him
Just off the top of my head, it sounds like Smokey tangled with a racoon.

It burns me that the casinos don't honor coupons on Easter. They know (but don't care to admit) that Easter is NOT an official national holiday. Oh well...their joints.

Took lots of courage to go out to the rim on an 18 mile dirt road. Loved your description of the trailor park and cafe. It amazes me how people decide where to live their lives.

Thanks for the report (your friend didn't miss anything missing Primm. It would have cost you $25 in gas to visit three casinos that aren't much different than all of the ones in Vegas).

They now have softer cone Elizabethen collars-- less angst for the wearer.
Hope Mr. Smokey is better and lives another 8 more lives...

sounds like heaven to me your Vegas trip- what's not to love?
thanks for the TR
What a great trip report. Thanks - Sounds like you all had a great time. Bet coming home with money is a huge incentive to go right back! Win, win. Regards to Mr. Smokey. Good to know he's on the mend.

Thanks for an enjoyable TR.

And glad Smokey is better. I had a special needs kitty that had a Peg tube inserted in his stomach and for the first 24 hours, he wore an "inflatable" collar - that was much better (more humane) than the typical lampshade collar.
