Just got back from another great trip to Las Vegas, We had 5 comped nights at Bellagio. We usually combine offers, 3 with Caesers and 3 with MGM, but always end at Bellagio because its our favorite. This time after booking our stay, I decided to email a slot host from Bellagios web site and inform him of our plans and asked what kind of rate he could give us for the additional nights at Bellagio because the mrs doesn't want to switch hotels mid visit. He prompty responded and said he would comped all five nights. I had never used a host before but will again.
We arrived on sunday around noon and took Bell tran to the Bellagio. Checked in in minutes and we were off to the pool. We love the pool at Bellagio, its where we spend most afternoons, very relaxing, few kids and great service. After cleaning up, my better half had not been able to make last years trip so she wanted to see Cosmo. We went to the Wicked Spoon and it was very good, high priced but good.
We didn't play much the first night but more than made up for it later. We are mainly slot players and both had some good runs. I hit a small WG at Bellagio on a Junglewild III machine and another at the Mirage on a machine with power spins or something like that. and had several nice hits on a Boingy Beans machine at the Bell, took over 2k off it. The Mrs also had several nice hits in the 5-6 hundred range but no WG's. We always seem to do well at MGM properties but never at Caesers.
We went and saw KA for the 3rd time .I think and still love it and saw LOVE for the 1st time and thought is was also great. We recognized all the music in LOVE, which made it even more fun. Both are great shows.
Most of our meals are buffets mainly because we love the variety and love Bellagios buffet. We also ate at Cravings and MGM'S. No complaints about any of the meals we had anywhere.
Speaking of complaints, We fly SW and over all are always happy with them. They are always on time. Cheaper than most and the employees seem to like being there, however I could do without the cattle call boarding and the seats could just be a little wider, i know quit eating at the buffets fatass, but other than that love SW.
Then only other complaint has to do with the people, for what ever reason, feel the need to stop in the flow of pedestrian traffic on the strip or walking through the casinos and need to take a picture of their loved one. I almost ran over several and then they give you the stink eye, sheesh, guess i'm just getting old, lol/
