Bellagio Follow-Up

I did not want to bury the follow-up to my Bellagio incident at the end of a semi-long thread whereby the casino is trashed at the beginning of the thread and not given credit until the end of the thread, so here is the lastest for anyone who is interested.

The Bellagio got back to me last night with their response and I am satisfied with the actions that they are taking. I don't want to get into all of the specifics, but I will hopefully be staying at the Bellagio in the near future and will be talking to their Director of Security about my incident this week. The Bellagio has also taken action to ensure that this type of incident will not happen again.

Given all of the circumstances of my situation, I believe that the Bellagio has provided a reasonable remedy. Thanks for everyone's encouraging responses.

That's very nice to know, and good of you to post as a seperate thread. You did us all a service by following this through to the end.

I understand not wanting to get into specifics, but were the remedys taken to satisify your situation only or will the corrections help everyone.
I don't know what specific steps the Bellagio took with their security staff. Their letter only indicated that they have taken corrective action to ensure that similar incidents do not occur.

Good for you/ They were dead wrong each step of the way.
Hoping you get the OTHER Bellagio treatment when you go there next
Thanks for the follow up.

PS I really did leave money in the VP machine
Glad you got resolution to your satisfaction. I have to figure that management has a love/hate relationship with security. They're a necessary evil....someone has to protect the house and the patrons. At the same time, I imagine they get more than a few complaints about their staff who exploit big egos, are arrogant and abuse power.

I had a funny incident where I wrote to the GM at a local casino with a complaint about the way a situation was handled by their security. He called me to clarify the details and by the end of the conversation, he was more pissed at his security people than I was! LOL

Glad once again it worked out.

What I find interesting is that they were so protective over (imagined) credits left in a machine. I guess if no one claims them, they revert to the casino? So they were just watching out for the casino's bottom line, as always.
I am glad to hear that they addressed the situation, and they worked things out to your satisfaction. You desereved as much!
Im shocked how they treated you in the first place. Bellagio is my goto resort and have always been treated like a king there and i am not. I even messed up and lost $100 bucks on a slot machine, I didn't read the ticket when i cashed out and walked away and someone swooped in and cash the rest out, long story. but it was my goof and when they saw what i did i realized i screwed up and started to walk away and they instead gave me 100 on freeplay.
