Betting on elevators - last day

Monday morning we decide were only playing at CET properties so we started with breakfast at Planet Dailies. We ate 2 meals there this trip, both were good and service was outstanding. After breakfast, I had an 80 min treatment at spa Mandara. I don't remember what it was but it was just ok. She brushed my skin with some sort of brush, then I had a massage with some sort of oils, then I spas schmeared with something and wrapped up. The schmeared stung like crazy, I guess because I had been brushed off to begin with. The stinging went away about 10 minutes later. I did like their spa better than the one at Paris but the treatments were just sort of meh. I much prefer Qua, next time I'll plan a little more in advance and make an appt before our trip.

I met hubby at Ballys when I was done, he was not faring well for the morning. I told him if I had any wins once I covered my buy in, I'd split my winning with him that day. First machine, top dollar, I play awhile and cash out up $200 so I split it with him. He loses that pretty quickly. We went back to Cromwell to the cherry machine and play, he's in the 2x 3x 5x pay machine. We play for quite awhile. I don't lose anything but don't win anything, I cashed out with my buy in. I don't need to continue to say how badly hubby is doing....do I? We wander to Flamingo, the link and back to Ballys just playing here and there. We have dinner at Le Burger Brassierie using our coupon from the MRB. I liked it bette pr before the menu change but it wasn't bad. We go back and play at
Paris, decide on some 3 card and don't have much luck. We decide to head back to PHo and call it a trip but we see spots open at high card flush so we buy in for $200. I love high card flush, hubby usually does well, I can honestly say I have never left the table up but he has, several times. We play about an hour and guess what? I cash out with a $150 profit! A first. We go get packed and turn in before midnight, Sean was picking us up at the ungodly hour of 4:30 a.m. For the first nonstop home (so we can get the puppy from the puppy spa).

This wasn't a good trip for hubby but he had a few good ones last year. I lost some of my Sunday winnings but it could have been worse. We did have a great time, it was nice to get away after the stress of this winter. We weren't really intending to chase diamond for 2016 but by the time we got home and got the 50% bump CET was giving for play through March 31, hubby had already achieved diamond and I am 600 TC's away. Yesterday I get an email saying they were giving me 1,000 TC's, due by sometime in July so that should put me at Diamond again. My next trip is with a group of friends from high school, some I haven't seen in 30+ years. 2 of us are veterans, the other 4 haven't been in years. It should be a fun trip. Next trip with hubby is my birthday this summer.

Thanks for reading and thanks to all who post.
We will be at Bally's Sunday to Friday. We will try those high limit slots. Nice report.
Thanks for the report, we hoping for a Nevada trip in June or July. Vegas, Laughlin, or maybe try Wendover.
I enjoyed all of the episodes of your report.

To me there has always been something special about Wild Cherries machines, any variation, and I LOVE playing them. Especially the Double ones. Can't recall a Triple Double Wild Cherries, but I'll certainly look for one.

Glad you had so many $600 hits, and you made Diamond! I'm not thinking I'll make it this year, but that little 1000 bonus has to have helped. I'm hoping they'll do another promotion, but not counting on it.

Thanks for a super report.

Candy, there's a dollar triple double wild cherry at Cromwell, pretty much in the center of their $1 machines, not far from one the bathroom. There's a dollar one at Paris between the champagne slots and table games, closer to that remodeled bar that's bu the cafe. There's also one at Rio over by the sports book. I'm a cherry fan too.

One thing I forgot, in the high limit room there's a couple of $1 top dollars, there's one side that has a $2 max and a $3 max. When I was playing the 2x 3x 5x pay machine everyone that played in the $3 machine kept hitting bonus afte bonus. 3-4 people played that machine. I decided to cash out with $30 on my machine and play. No bonus but I did get the double diamond and 2 red 7's so I won a hundy. I played through all of it and didn't get a bonus, I guess all this other people sucked all the bonuses out of the machine!
Thanks for a wonderful report. I'm glad to hear you liked the spa at PH better than the one at Paris. I had a treatment at Paris a few years ago. I felt the facilities were meh and wished I paid more to go to Qua. Also felt Bally's had nicer facilities. Sounds like you and your husband had a fun time. I look forward to your next report.
Thanks for the finale of the report! Sorry that your husband did not do well but this sounded to me like a pretty good trip overall!

Lisa, I think I may try the spa at Ballys this summer, I've read great comments about it.
