Caesar's Palace 12/17-12/22

Well, I'm not doing a long report d/t falling very ill w/bronchitis after our trip. That was a "gift" my BFF Lori gave me before she went back to Cali. Let's just say that the comped Palace Tower room was really nice and I just kept winning my money back when I played! We saw Gordie Brown w/2-1 LVA coupon and was a great show. Also, ate at Max Brenner (that new chocolate-themed restaurant in the Forum Shops) and it was okay. The chocolate martini's were AWESOME, but the food was similar to Cheesecake Factory. I don't know, was expecting something more special d/t the hype. Son took Lori to the Auto Collection at the IP w/our free coupons and they had a great time while I won $$$. It rained the whole time so we didn't venture out much. We did walk next door to see the Bellagio display; not really worth walking in the storm for as it was pretty much what I've seen several times; but, the kid liked it so it was worth sloshing thru puddles for him. Lots of great sales at the Forum shops so I did some last minute X-Mas shopping. Did head over to the Palms to Gardunos for 50% off margarita brunch!!! THAT was worth the cab fare!!!
Next trip is a 3 night comp stay at Silverton for a slot tourney in February. Had to cancel this weekend's free stay at CP d/t still recovering ;( Thanks for reading!

Thanks for the report! Sorry to read about your subsequent illness and the rains but I'm happy to read about your nice winnings!

It might also have been nice if your BFF could have at least (if possible) worn some kind of medical type of mask so that it might contain at least some of her germs.
