I spent Friday and Saturday at Harrah's casino in Cherokee, NC. In the past I've read a lot of negative reviews about this casino; particularly about the tight slots so I was very careful and only played those slots I was really interested in. In general, I'd say that the slots are as tight as those on the Vegas strip; however, there were a few friendly ones and I hit $140 on one and $60 on another during 2 days play. The table games have live dealers but are digital cards and I did not care for those. I did enjoy the large non-smoking slot area they have. The buffet was $25 but was a brunch from 11 am to 3pm. It was awesome. Lots of very fresh veggies, a full breakfast bar, several meat choices and a beautiful desert area. The entire staff had been trained to say "good luck" to everyone and I did not encounter a single rude staff member.
