Funny story, but true. Last year, my brouthers flight was coming in around midnite and he was staying at Planet Ho, a regular 2 bed room. He arrives and they are 99.9999% full..........soooooooooo, they make him sign a paper that he will vacate a particular room my 11 am and send him up. He is in a huge suite on the top floor. This thing had a living room that is about twice the size of a regular room, a full kitchen, a butlers area, formal dining room with seating for FOURTEEN, 3 massive bedrooms, 4 massive bathrooms and probably $200K in furnishings! Windows all the way around, full 180 degree view of the strip, with of course, the Bellagio fountains right out the front window. When he goes downstairs the next morning, it was time for us to check in (we stayed at Monte Carlo the night before with myVegas points) and I asked for the room number he had been in. I was informed it was occupied and I told them it wasn't, that my brother at the next window was checking out of it and moving to another room Still told me it wasn't "available". I asked what the rate was for a night in it and they said it's not a room they rent out. Shoot, for all I know, it could be Britney Spears place when she's in Vegas! Maybe if I ever win a few million, they'll let me and the wife stay in it.

My brother had sent a text when he got to the room the night before but we were basically dead to the world by that time since it was almost 4AM eastern time and we had flown out of NC at 4AM the morning before. He wanted us to come right over to see it and I didn't see the text until the next morning. Had I seen it that night, we would have packed up at Monte Carlo and spent the night in one of the bedrooms.....just to say we did

I stayed at DTG before on a comp. My air conditioner worked only to a certain point, not one cool enogh for me. Still offered com rooms never take em though, not so impressed.
Next time you could try The Four Queens South Tower (no room surcharge), MSS or the Cal. Always clean and comfy.
