Downtown, microbrews and dining, riding the bus

Clancy is the best. I have to beg for a bowl not full enough to nearly kill me; the price just up 50c on the best beans on earth and still a bargain. Sorry, david, not Kosher. I haven't been bus- only in two years. Now I am inspired to skip the RC Center on my next trip. Rampart can do without my play this once! Good luck!
Here are a few more comments about the GN that I omitted in the report. Golden Nugget Rooms: I've stayed in all towers. My favorite is the Gold Tower 17th floor which requires a card on the elevator to access. Coffee, water and apples are provided in the morning near the elevator on the floor and nuts and m&m's later in the day. Also includes a card for a line pass to the buffet and showroom and complimentary spa access to work out. The spa is $20 extra otherwise. The room is about $30 more than the regular Gold Tower rooms but worth it to me as I use the spa most days. These rooms have a tv imbedded in the mirror in the bathrooms. Oh and there is housekeeper service later as well around 5 or 6 p.m. This trip I stayed in a Rush Tower luxury room (23rd floor). I booked this room inadvertently as I prefer the Gold Tower luxury rooms but it was fine and had all of the same amenities including card required to access. Dining: Chart House - Very excellent seafood restaurant. I normally get the Chilean Sea Bass ($39 for full meal). Lillies - I have dined here often usually getting the Chilean Sea Bass for $27 not including sides.
Enjoyed your report!
Getting me in the mood as I will be downtown in two weeks..yay!
Nice TR and thanks for going into detail about bus lines. I rented a car last year in Vegas - never again- so this info is very helpful. Also, my husband is a homebrewer and loves the 777, so I completely understand the "beer snob" comment. Appreciate you taking the time to share! ~Paige

Great trip report! We'll be there on the 14th through the 21st. 777 at Main Street Station is a must stop for us and being a craft beer drinker myself it made the report that much more enjoyable.
