Earthquake

Did anyone in Las Vegas feel that earthquake Memorial Day weekend? I was just wondering if Las Vegas could feel it too? Leaving for Vegas June 6th and if my mother finds out she probably won't go. I can't wait to get my hands on a hot slot machine and a hot pai gow table. Already counting the days, hours, minutes...need my fix!
We were in Vegas, didn't feel the earthquake. Or mistook it for vibrations from a Walking Dead or other slot with chairs that vibrate periodically. LOL.

We actually felt the one that occured in San Francisco...years ago...just before or at the start of a World Series game. My husband was at home settled in to watch the game on TV.
The players had taken the field, maybe a pitch or two in? and the earthquake hit. Players milling around the field in confusion. Then mass evacuation of the baseball field.
Friend and I were playing slots at Harrah's, I felt something, turned to her, asked "What was that?" She shrugged, we kept on playing.
A few minutes later an Asian lady started yelling "Earthquake, earthquake, it was an earthquake!" Took me a minute to understand what she was saying.
I turned to friend and said "She's saying there was an earthquake." About then the news was coming on, earthquake in San Francisco. We shrugged and continued on playing slots. LOL.
Earthquakes are so rare in Vegas she shouldn't be concerned. I grew up in So Cal and very rarely ever felt an earthquake. 2 times in 30+ years.
We were in Vegas when the earthquake hit and did not feel anything.
The local news said the earthquake was approximately 150 miles north of Las Vegas.
