Fabulous Vegas winning trip 1/24-1/31

Glad to see you had a winning week after meeting you guys at the Lounge in the ElCortez.
Sorry I didn't make it out to the SP on Friday, that's when my Arizona buddy was coming into town.

Very nice, Judy! Thanks for the rest of the report! As for CET, really the question that all players need to ask themselves is whether what they are getting out of the comps that casinos offer players such as room nights and possibly food is worth the playing and more likely losing more money at lower returning machines.

TB: We all get a chance sometime. Believe me this trip makes up for a lot of bad ones. You'll get your chance. I just keep playing till I get it right, lol! This was a dream trip since Dennis & I both did well. He's been on a skid for awhile. I guess he's baaaaaaaaaaaack now! I hope it lasts.

Rec: Yes you're right about CET. One of our biggest perks are the junkets we go on. At least some props still have pretty decent schedules. Obviously, Vegas is not one. The 8/5 BP $ sure didn't last long. We don't usually play $, but we did last summer when we stayed at Rio. We're hoping Cleveland follows Horseshoe Indiana which has some pretty decent schedules. That is if they ever get it opened!

Yes, I do know that outside of Las Vegas that CET/Harrah's can have some playable stuff (such as 9/6 Jacks).

But also players in general really should be walking a fine line while going after earning comps because it can definitely end up costing people more money (in losses especially when playing on poorer pay scheduled games) as opposed to the person just paying outright for whatever the thing cost.

I definitely hate when I like a place but either their games go to pot and/or their qualifications change for the worst (such as Rio). But I am definitely willing to take a hike if the return devolves too much for me for it to be worth dealing with.

But thanks again for reporting and I'm very happy that both of you did well!

Congrats on the winning trip! Especially not easy to do for a 7 night trip.

And sounds like Dennis is doing well with all the walking and running around you guys did. Bet this made it an extra nice trip as well!

Great TR! Thanks for posting all the pics and congrats. You are right about CET. We're not sure what we are going to do this year. We transitioned to playing more downtown the last couple of trips and are seriously considering doing that this year. Depends on who has the best offers.

Nice VP hits; you and Dennis really brought a lot of good luck with you this trip. I was lucky enough to catch some of that luck while sitting next to you two at the bar at the El Cortez. Gail and I will be going to Vegas sometime between Sept 3rd and the 16th. Hope our paths cross in Vegas soon.
