Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino. Palm Springs.

We had a great boxing card at the Fantasy Springs Resort & Casino, in Palm Springs, Friday night January 6, 2012.

A few pictures and comments:

-Nice venue for fights. Small but very rowdy crowd. It was real good TV.

-Looked to be a nice casino. Everything Vegas except no dice games.

-Pretty good food choices.

-Played less than 15 minutes of VP and hit a few winners.

-Good "Play $20 get $50" for new Player's Club members.

-Weather in Palm Springs was beautiful. 75 and sunny.

-We fought at Fantasy Springs but stayed downtown Palm Springs at the Hyatt. If you haven't done Palm Springs in the winter- do it! Great little town.

As for my experience with Fantasy Springs (which is in Indio which is about 30 miles East of Palm Springs) in May 2011, it was that it is a nice place with a little bit of okay VP and as for the $50 in Freeplay that New Sign-Ups get after playing $20 through, at least when I was there it was limited to be played on only certain kinds of machines where it was not supposed to be used for any Video Poker (it could only be played on machines with certain stickers on them).

And so for the Freeplay that I got, since I did not have a lot of time to check the place entirely out, I ended up using it on Video Blackjack at one of the bars.

I'm now seeing on the casino's own website (which you can find online at https://www.fantasyspringsresort.com for March 2012 that new Player's Club members now get $60 in Freeplay after playing through %20.
