feb trip report 19th to 26th

This was our 2nd trip of the year, and 4th in 5 months.  Our flight was Alleigent for 386 for both of us , but got us in at midnight after an hour delay. We rented first time from fox for 245 for the week. Quick and easy and safe.  Car had a few miles and dings, but drove well and we had no issues.

We stayed at Green Valley Ranch, Alliante, and Gold Coast.  All comped with no resort fees.  We played at Green Valley Ranch, The pass,  Rainbow club.  Emerald Island,  Virgin, Gold coast,  Palms, Palace Station, Rampart, Sun Coast, Red Rocks, Resorts World,  Golden Gate, Circa, The  D, Fremont, Santa Fe Station, and Alliante.

We also had a great dinner at Carve at the Cannery on wed. for half price wine night, but we didnt play there this time.  Triple 8 noodle at Circa also was great, as was Blueberry hill on Flamingo, and the cafe at Emerad Island with the 2 for 1 coupon from the las vegas advisor.

We didn't do as well gambling this trip, with fewer big wins later in the week, and I somehow threw away a winning sports book ticket for 120 dollars.  I am new to using the kiosk, and my hands were full so just stuck it im my pocket.  Later when we ordered some food I again stuck the reciet in my pocket, and eventually threw all paper in my pocket in the trash.  I should have used Anthony's tip to put the ticket in my sock !

Resorts World was not as much fun this time because it was packed for a Katie Perry concert.  Next time we will check for big events before we go, but glad to see they are doing well.  We wanted to play at downtown  grand this trip but the crap table was closed and the dollar black jack was full.  They did have a staduim craps table that was packed, but just isn't the same.  Biggist win was at rainbow club with full pay keno at the bar.

I can't guarantee this will work, but if you remember the details of your sports bet--how much and what kind of bet, who you bet on, and most importantly, the approximate time of day you made your bet--you might be able to get paid. The thing is, they'll have this unreconciled ticket on their books, so they ought to be able to find it. After a certain amount of time passes (to see if anyone cashes the ticket), they'll pay you. It's worth a phone call or email to check!

Super pro tip: use a player's card when you make sports bets. You'll be recording the transaction, and you usually earn a few slot club points.

I cashed 2 tickets and thought maybe I had left the 3rd in the room or something at first.  If I had realized what had happened I would have tried what you have described as I have done that with a slot ticket before..By the time I realized what had happened for sure we didn;t have time to go back and jump through the hoops.  It was a 7 team moneyline parlay for either 5 or 10 dollars, but worth 126.  Live and learn !

I don't believe you'll have to be there. Contact them and tell them as many details of the ticket as you can recall. I think you have a good chance of getting paid. For $126, it's worth the trouble of an email.

Do it soon, as if they want to check the video, you'll only have a week or so before they erase it.

Nice TR, sorry about losing the ticket, but I'm betting most of us have done something like that and it drove us crazy until we could truly put it out of our minds.  I'm treasurer of one of our church groups.  Members are always coming up to me anywhere--Sunday service, Walmart, etc. and hurriedly (like there is a fire going one) handing me a check or even cash sometimes.  "Oh,l here, I forgot to give you this earlier."  So I might cram it in a pocket or purse, etc., maybe I'm in a little rush myself.  Not long ago I lost a member's check for $120.  I tore my house apart, every purse, pocket, everything looking for it.  The thought of telling her made me sick at my stomach.  But she blew it off, and by that time it hadn't been cashed, still no telling where it is.  Now I only accept those things at the monthly meeting.  Will help some, if only they don't toss it at me while I'm doing something else!

Oh, well, enough about that.  A really nice TR, all those places you stayed and played and the good food.  We sure can't have a winning trip every time, that's for sure.  Hope you do get your ticket winnings.
