Flamingo and IP are the two CET casinos where I have not stayed. I would have thought as a Diamond player they would have given you a Go room when you booked instead of selling you the upgrade.

Rambler- I usually do get the GO room upgrade for asking, but I wanted to make SURE as sometimes those sell out. Considering it was March Madness and St Pats weekend, I knew they would be really busy. For a night or two it doesn't matter, but for 4 nights I really wanted that GO room. Worked out great as a comp anyway.

Not to mention I have hundreds of dollars of TR points and would have likely used those to pay anyway.

Thank you for the great trip report. Sounds like it was an enjoyable time. I agree about the drunks. They should not have been knocking on every door. Did you mention it to security? Or just chalk it up to Vegas too much drinking? On my way to Vegas in a couple of days. Your trip report helped to get me excited and ready to go. Mary

Wonderful report. As others have mentioned, "Wake Up with the Wagners" is also a favorite when I'm in town. I wonder if they know how much out-of-towners look forward to their reports?

If you take your own laptop, or phone, or pad, put in earphones for yourself and watch your own movie, which would block out the screaming kids and rude non-earphone people.

$200 for that kind of a trip is a bargain in anyone's book. Great to catch the Royal on your B-day trip.
