My favorite former machine wasn’t being very kind and the nice lady borrowed $40 from her husband. I suggested she move to the machine on the other side of her husband because I saw someone hit a royal on it about 6 weeks ago. She moved over and quickly got aces no kicker on one of the lines. Her husband followed up with a royal.
I mostly play 3 or 5 play in dimes because I rarely hit anything when I play all the lines or a higher denomination. Once my credits were up there, I played a few hands in dollars – nada, 50 cent – nada, quarters – nothing to write home about, and 10 play dimes – nothing to write about. I tried some other machines, nada, nada, nada. Around 10 pm, I stopped in the DL enjoyed an appetizer and virgin pina colada. I played a little more and nothing. Cashed out but wasn’t ready to leave. I played a little more and nothing.
As I worked my way to the front entrance, I noticed my very favorite 2 cent slot, Queen of Atlantis, was available. After about $45 in, I hit a couple bonus rounds. This one was most memorable. The 5 jelly fish paid 2000 credits and the wild symbol paid 1200 credits.
I watched people play the new Hangover slot, called it a night and left at 12:15 am with a profit.
