Fun Trip to Vegas - Long!!

Nice TR. I loved your observations, and couldn't agree more.
Quick note about too warm rooms in Vegas. I have a friend I travel with to Vegas regularly. The first thing we do on arrival is crank up the air conditioning. If it does not cool down in a decent amount of time, she calls for maintenance and tells them the filter needs changed. LOL It works every time. I think she was an polar bear in her past life, and cannot stand the heat. LOL But I am thankful for it as we will be traveling to Vegas in July this year. I can't wait.
As for the room not cooling down enough stuff I think that at least some of the time it may be because the room might have a sensor in it to tell if people are there. I found this in a room in Rio and so maybe other Harrah's properties have something like that going on as well!

And if so, maybe people can put something up to block the sensor so that it thinks that someone is there all of the time.

Wow, I must be a Vegas addict because I read it all - and enjoyed it! Sounds like a really fun, stress-busting trip - and congrats on getting in your first pool days of the year. As a pool lover, I recognize the value of some quality pool time, and always relish the first rays catching opportunities of the year. Thanks again for a great read.
Loved every word of your report.

Too bad the head chef of the Paris buffet doesn't read these reports he/she would certainly learn how much that place has lost favor...shame on them.

$200 for that entire fantastic trip! Great Bargain!!!

Glad you got to get away from it all and it certainly sounds like you have a wonderful time. Can't wait for the next one.

What a great TR.....you did so many things, yet got some much needed rest, it seems!
Love your observations! I, too, have wondered about people just stopping in the middle of the aisle with some many other people around them!
And, yes, I read every single word.....

Thank God you posted this trip report! I go on LVA every day looking for new trip reports. They seem to be getting fewer and farther between them (damned economy!) and the ones that are posted often too damned short.
LVA'ers should be paying you to go back so we can read the report!

Weggie - I think that's a fabulous idea! Count me in!
Wow, Diane! What a great trip report. Thanks for all the details on room, food and VP. Sounds like you fit in everything you possibly could. Sorry about the losses, but the denomination upgrade fairy sure did pay off. I hate it when I screw up the denominations and don't notice until my credits are almost out.
Thanks for sharing your report
Diane, Very nice trip report. I loved all the details and your observations. Better luck with those RF's on your next trip.

Awesome report...and not too long at all. Have been real busy at work as well and have four trips scheduled. Usually play VP as you do and gotta love it when the cards are going your way. Good luck in future trips. Mike
