get our money back trip 5-30

Day 8 friday we  slept in and had a donut from last night and checked out  of  the Suncoast.  This remodel going on has really limited our play here so we will be glad when it is done.  I think the new bingo room opens next month.

We decided to go back to Resorts World  to play  our free play for the new month and have a mimosa.  It is so nice to play in a casino that is not smokey, and serves good drinks in nice glasses..  We both made a few dollars before having a good club sandwitch at the fancy wine place using our 25 dollar food credit.  It was a fun setting and we talked and planned our next trip in a few weeks.

After leaving Resorts World we stopped by the LVA office to pick up a free gambling calender, and have been reading a couple of pages a day to get caught up.  It has been fun and thanks LVA for the calender and shaping a better Las Vegas experience for us over the years.

Next stop was Gold Coast to play closer to the airport.  We hit the spooky Mo Mummy games by the parking garage entrance for a nice win and then settled in for some 3 way poker.  I got a straight flush and a couple face card quads and ended up about even.  We still had about 45 minutes so hit the Palms to use our June free play.  The wife made a hundy on a dragon link game and I made 1 dollar playing vp.  But some young girl was killing the Whitney Houston slot so I jumped in the seat next to her and hit for a hundred on my 3rd spin, and cashed out.  She was still hitting that thing we we left and had it up over a thousand and was just going nuts .  Very dramatic and saying I love you Whitney.  Fun times.

Rental car return was quick and easy and the bus lines were short.  No lines at the Airport either and our flights have all been on time or early lately.    Thanks for reading

Wonderful trip report as usual. Thanks for sharing.

Enjoyed the report!

Nice report!  That 3 card poker can be fun, but might be the worst return of any table game.  Just the fact it took a straight flush and quads to 'get even' says a lot!  I have a buddy that loves that game and I'll sit down and play with him sometimes, but it's always been a bankroll crusher for me, while he seems to win most sessions, go figure.

Indigp, I am playing 3 way video poker.  3 bets, single line.  I believe it is a double double game , with a payout on the flop for a pair of 3s or better.  Then you have a payout or a 5 card draw. and finally a payout for a final 2 cards for a 7 card stud hand.  Fun game and easy to run up some points, but  you really need to catch 4s or better to have a nive payday.  And I think there are 2 hands above the royal on the 7 card payout and you can usually play this game for pennys if you wish.

So, is this a table game or video?  Thanks.

Video poker, labeled on some machines as 3-5-7 Poker.

I believe it's also called 3-Way Action. I first played it at South Point. I found a couple at the Plaza also. Can bet 5, 10 or 25 cent denoms if I remember correctly. It's quite addicting.

Thanks Michael I'm sure I've seen the 3-Way Action, didn't know what it was, passed by.

And thanks for all those lovely screens of winnings.  The one at Boulder must have been a sequential royal jackpot.  Geez!

And thanks, Kevin, for the other name, 3-5-7.  Can't remember seeing one, but I probably have.
