i do not mean to disparage anyone. there are great posts these days.
BUT i am of a different decade(older)and remember some of my favorite posters of y'or.

karenTN occasional posts on the FFA, no longer on this side. I think the keno player is Connie. Flip, ncats friend who got married no longer posts here. If I'm correct , the other gambling husband, married someone else and posts here. Tommywishbone, SueCasey and Sionow are around. I don't know vavranus or Rachel's mom. I haven't seen redhotqueen on the FFA for a very long time. Someone recently posted Ncat will be back in a few weeks. Haven't seen bubba in a very long time.

Westie's still here and just wrote an awesome trip report with pics of food. That's all I know.

Vavranus I believe is Varanus who used to follow the Speaks Brothers band and posted many fun trip reports. He is still around

I miss the guy who wrote massive long reports that featured food, food, food. The guy was great but I can't remember what his moniker was at all.

When I run into people in Vegas, I mention LVA to them and how much it helped me hoping they'll take a gander and join up and become contributors.

Some of my friends have not renewed: timberwolf, maximus, and terimac because they were no longer happy with the coupons...the gambling coupons gone, very few 50% off meals for the single players (every thing is a twofer). Personally, I renew for these message boards. Some years, I've haven't used the coupons. They're nice, but for $40 for the online version, I still think is a great deal. Some, simply lost their excitement for Vegas. Hopefully, I'll try to talk them back into subscribing.

JustMare used to be a great contributor, but was wronged by someone, sometime. That's too bad. I don't see taking anyone's flame personally. As we can see on the politcal front, you'll never please everyone all the time. I hope Mare one day returns.

Ah the Good Ole Days

I use to post a little more, but then I went to Vegas more often. Had a lot of fun with all the Chew Toy pictures and adventures.

I do miss the fun teasing that use to go on and the chew toy Tr's. Now it seems that many posters are a bit sarcastic , or mean spirited.

I still enjoy the good info but I agree the coupons have diminished.

edited to add not that I am a real old timer, my first year I joined for just the 5 promo you use to be able to get for I think 3 months?

Time moves on and things change...

It may be sad but it beats the alternative.
