golden age of posters

In my mind Westie and Sionow are two of the best ever and they are still posting, so life is good

I do miss Justmare, I hope her silence is due to the fact she has cut back on gambling not just cut back on posting. She was taking some big losses....
JustMare has become a extreme couponer.... I kid you not.

She's be good it it but who needs 1,000 stockpile of everything?

Bard, Jenipher, KarenTN and Flip are at Las Vegas Advise..a board Kevin started up
Big Loser (BobKnob)
JFReller
Squawker

Has anyone heard from Dick since his wife Pat died?

I forgot about Dick.Hope he is doing well.

Mindbender is fine. He and his new wife are in the process of buying a short-sale house in Sun City Aliante (where I live) to use in the winter when it's too cold up north. They recently took a trip to Australia to visit his daughter who is living there.
Yes, I heard from Dick by PM recently. I think he tends to lurk these days.
You can probably PM him if you want.

Didn't know Mare became an Extreme Couponer??? Never would have guessed........

I'm wondering if jjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjjj21 is Ok?
Cuz he went to Hawaii on Vacation couple months ago, and haven't heard anything since.

I had a problem with lvadvice a year ago, and haven't been back since. No thanks.

Good luck here, to all that remain! Days of faster speed may actually happen! Woohoo!
Thanks for the info, Sue, but sorry to hear of David's passing. I also bought the calendars every year. I'll also echo the praises for Westie - I look forward to his restaurant compilations every week, as well as his other info. His buffetless trip report was also great!

I believe the David Berman you are referring to is alive and actively involved in Sun City Anthem affairs - here is a link to "David's Anthem Journal" where he posted as recently as yesterday.

Thanks, Westie - I guess the reports of his (David) passing were greatly exaggerated! I'm not surprised that he's got a blog, since he's a retired attorney, and if I remember correctly he was once going to write a book for new visitors to Las Vegas. I think someone said in response, that unless he changed his reporting methods, the book would be 27,000 pages long. Reading his blog, it appears that his methods haven't changed much<G>. I do miss the calendars, though I've started supporting a rescue mission in LV myself. I vaguely remember his buffet reports in which he listed every single item on the buffet including each kind of lettuce and salad dressing.
