Golden Nugget June 10 - 15 with lots of downtown thoughts

Kev, I went to Vegas in early Sept. and stayed downtown. Great trip report! Really enjoyed downtown! My pleasant food surprise for the whole trip was The Golden Nugget buffet. We went one day for lunch with our LVA coupon and so enjoyed it, all the fresh cheeses, etc. Also, great table with a view of the pool area about 1:00 pm. Went back the next day for breakfast about 9:00 and I can verify that you really did miss out on some of the best fresh fruit I have had in a long time. You need to go back!

Gotta tell you I love the nice comments and positive reactions to this trip report. As a Vegas nut I tend to think writing a trip report like this is a self absorbed "vegas vegas vegas" moment the likes of which I don't get to share at home as much given not everybody here can relate to or love Vegas in the same ways. Seeing the reaction here on this board to the trip report makes me feel great. Glad you enjoyed it. I'll post one whenever I have a trip there.

Enjoyed your report. Your comments are much the same as ours. I miss the places on the strip we enjoyed such as Imperial Palace, Bills, and O'Sheas. These places gave people options and were always packed with people. Recently visited downtown, enjoyed the morning trip visiting most of the casinos with El Cortez being the fav. Appreciate the LVA coupons.
