Good idea to write a report

Well, while this is not a trip report, but to encourage more to share their stories.

Sooner or later I get around to write about most of our trips. I have to tell you that a past tr helped settle a bet between hubby and I. I have been trying to keep a diary so to speak about our past trips to LV. A few trips lack some info--to settle a disagreement I was about to look the info up on a past tr I posted.

I hope this helps to encourage someone to write a TR to share with the rest of us.
okay. i went with lou(if you have been following my tr's you recognize his name) rick, lou's brother; tom, lou's cousin; randy, who i have not met; sam, who i have also not met but i know the girl/woman he is seeing but she wants to get back with her ex for some reason even though sam comes over and just does things for her and treats her well. i am wayne

lou is a big harrahs player. he earned 7**** this past week at joliet.

anyhoo...lou had an offer of a limo with some players from wisconsin to hammond, indiana. i was off that weekend and gladly accepted the offer.

we met at sam's house. they had soda, beer, and itialian sandwich meats in the limo. denise was the driver. she works for randy in some capacity.

made it to hammond in about two hours. we beat rush hour. limos are the way to go. i had one beer, but having someone driving through chicago at rush hour was great

we split up after arrival. i again lost at vp, slots, and craps. i should rethink this gambling thing.

louis went to the high limit lounge and hit a couple nice hits and $2000 on a WOF machine. he also won $2000 playing BJ splitting the money with randy.

we all went to the 7** lounge, which is the reason lou was invited with us hangers-on. they had so-so apps, nice desserts, free drinks, and live music. i pretended i belonged, had a few drinks, read the paper, and just enjoyed the atmosphere.

lou was losing on a $slot as we were leaving. the limo was waiting. we were waiting. he came back laughing that he had won at that machine. it's been that kind of year for him. also, he has no fear when he gambles, he's not wealthy, but.............what can i say.

Great report!
It great to enjoythe spoils of a high roller without having to spend the money. LOL
What a treat to let someone else drive in rush hour traffic, especially in a limo.
Thanks for sharing.
Thanks Wayne for your report!

What you can do (if you are going to consider doing anything) is to restrict your casino play to Video Poker and Blackjack only and this should be only if the casino advantage is low enough.

What I have done for Video Poker is refuse to play anything with a return of any less than 99.1% (check out www.vpfree2.com to see which casino [across the United States] has to offer) and restrict Blackjack play to games where the casino advantage is .42% or less (to get some idea of this, go to the Las Vegas Blackjack survey at https://wizardofvegas.com ).

Keeping a daily diary while on your trip is a great idea. Also you can copy and paste from it to compose the report. Good time to work on it is while sitting at your gate and even the flight home if your have any energy left.

.......... such a depressing time for me to start a TR.

I HATE leaving Vegas,
especially when the planes are arriving with all those
totally-elated-to-start-their-Vegas-vacation passengers, enthusiastically exiting into the terminal.
