Our retiring CFO is one of the great gentlemen and professionals I have known. When he announced his retirement, we were sorry for us, happy for him. One of my fellow Vegas fanatics at work and I decided the only way to properly celebrate is to surprise him with a trip to Vegas.
We brought his wife into the planning process (who has never been to Vegas), and the plan was created;
-He thinks he will be stopping by a local restaurant with his wife for coffee on the morning of September 11, however he will run into us and learn that his bag is packed and he is on his way to the airport.
-We have put him and his wife up at Paris under my name where I hope to "$50 trick" them into the nicest room we can.
-The rest of our group will stay at the Gold Coast.
-Special group dinners will take place at the Cortez Room (GC), Palm (CP) and Top of the World (Strat.
-We have purchased great seats for them to see "O"
-We leave them on their own each day until about noon but we did buy them a total rewards gift card for breakfasts
-We have one downtown day where we meet at MSS for some craft brews and lunch at Triple 7 and figured that we could wander around the freak show for a while.
