Your welcome, Brent. I will also see about the parking at the sportsbook lot in 3 weeks. We never drove to that side last weekend.
Historically, I've always used that back lot to park, and even on what you would expect to be a busy day (like a football Sunday), there have always been plenty of spaces.
I don't visit Westgate much, except when I have a sizable football bet to make and the lines have stabilized--sizable for me being $200 or more, at which point I save $10 when they have their -105 lines (Thursdays, mostly). Hey, free lunch.
Many years ago, the National Championship of the American Contract Bridge League was held there, and a bunch of friends and I formed a team and traveled to Vegas from SFO. I booked a room at the El Corpse, being a cheap SOB, while they booked a room on the 25th floor at the Hilton. We made it a point to alert each other by phone when it was an hour before game time to make sure no one overslept. They came down the elevator--24th--23rd--22nd--21st--etc. while I drove there from downtown and parked. I ALWAYS beat them into the tournament hall--by five minutes or more. So I tell people, on a crowded weekend, the upper floors of the tower are actually further away from the casino than downtown. LOL.
One of my friends had never gambled before and I saw him bleeding out hundreds at the crap table, not knowing what the bleep he was doing. I gently showed him the proper ways to bet and wouldn't ya know it, the shooter went on a 15-minute dice odyssey. My friend made $1800 :) I personally scored several hundred on Odyssey advantage play slots. Yay!
