The Homage Trip Report

We leave for Vegas tomorrow, avoiding the family Thanksgiving chaos (though I am making/taking 2 pecan pies over to brother's house so I'll at least be represented).

I acquired the feeling that my TRs had become same-ole same-ole and not very interesting to the readership, so I got out of the habit. I'll try to think of something to create a TR about...hopefully a life-changing jackpot. LOL

I once bit for that English Breakfast at Bellagio Cafe several years ago. Thinking "something different, sounds interesting."
Though I seem to remember it being "Irish" rather than English, either way it was ick barf just as you described. We have eaten there many times over the years, and very often we find they have discontinued something we like from the menu. Why that nasty excuse for breakfast food remains there is beyond my understanding. Maybe they have some Irish (or English) high rollers who insist on it.

I'd like to encourage everyone to continue to post reports. We find even those who often visit and dine at the same places often have something new to share. While we too will often visit the same places, those places continue to change. Of course, I like reading almost anything about Las Vegas.

Incidentally, while the Strat's VP selection is not particularly strong, we have been very fortunate to have a great host there (Ron Guse) and our play has been generously rewarded.

Candy- sorry you too got taken in by the Bellagio's English Breakfast- "ick barf" indeed!

I agree, we need more reports submitted!!!! They really help us wanna-be visitors in between trips. Thanks for the report. I haven't stayed at the Strat for many years!
