Jan 19-Feb 5 part II

We checked in at Ip on Sunday afternoon. The $20 no longer works here. Boothling told me that management has cracked down and even gotten rid of people who were upgrading rooms. SOOOO we end up with standard rooms no luv tub but hey it is a room. My parents got a double queen and we were supposed to have a king but not ready yet so we ended up with 2 queens and moving the next day.

Was nice to be on strip and everyone wanted to go out. We went to Harrah's and Casino Royale. Was a fairly early night for everyone. Dinner The next morning we had breakfast at HH. Excellent as usual. My sister and I split the avacado, bacon scramble. Very goood. Both of us couldn't eat it all. Today we are venturing out to Flamingo, Bally's, Paris, Planet Hollywood. My dad and sister had not seen the Flamingo garden so we went there and took a couple pictures to send home. I had been playing a little here and there and was holding my own but no big wins at any of the casinos. We lost my dad at Paris.....Oh my.

Literally, he walks slow and his vision isn't the best from glaucoma. We all thought the other one was with him, he is not an invalid in shape of the imagination but sometimes well.. So we are all playing and when we meet up we ask where dad is..well nobody knows. My mom went one way looking but no luck. A few minutes later here comes a security officer with my dad. He was calling my moms cell phone and on their way to the security booth. This was quite funny that they ran into us on the way to security and my moms phone was ringing as they walk up. I work in law enforcement so of course I cracked the joke that he did the right thing by finding an officer to assist him and what a good boy he was, lol.

We decided to go to Fremont St for the evening. Caught the Deuce and headed north. They have changed the route so that was a different ride, kind of nice. I love downtown something about just the closeness of everything. We saw a sign for steak dinner at the Fitz so we have a very nice dinner that was very reasonable. The steak was very good and flavorful, I had ribs, my mom had the chicken and said it was very juicy and not dry. For the price you couldn't beat it.

We hit some of the casinos. Rick won $170 at Gold Nugget. He has a certain machine he likes to play there. My sister had a small hit. We went to Binion's and got our picture taken with the million dollars. Very nice my sister had our pictures taken with my parents. Cute pic. Sorry I can't load it. Watched a couple shows and then decided to make our way back. On the way there was the palm reader and my sister wanted to do it. So off my mom and I go with her. We decided to each have it done. The uncanny thing is she told my sister some stuff that nobody but us knew which was right on. She told them about a purchase and certain dates in March to watch for. The next day she talked to her husband, and he told her about a house for sale in Phoenix near his work. She told him the story and they thought how uncanny because it would be at those dates in March things would come together. She told my mom some things and then it came to me. She told me some things that peaked my attention but something that was coming up in 18-24 months. Which suprisinly someone else had told me the same thing.

Took the bus back to IP, and we had forgotten to move to the other room. We picked up our new keys and moved on the same floor as my parents and sister which was much better.

more later......

esp is regularly debunked, including by my nephew in the skeptical enquirer. Then the parallel universe idea crept into string theory and the possibility there's things known you wouldn't know otherwise..... just sayin.... keep up the tr, and good luck!
Thanks for Part II of your report, I'm happy that your father was relocated and I definitely love the closeness of the casinos in Downtown along with their good deals.

And it's great that Rick won $170 during your Downtown visit.

Please keep 'em coming!
