Jan 19-Feb 5 Part III

Tuesday, we decide to check out the Cosmopolian. What a nice casino, I enjoyed being there unlike Aria. Love the chandelier in the middle of the casino. We had heard about the hidden pizza place so we decided to see what all the hooha was about. Located on the 3rd floor it opens at 11am and we were early. Good deal we checked out some of the casino. The furniture is really cute and loved the ball/jack chair. There is a pool table and what a great little area to relax in. The 2nd floor has dog statues you can get your picture taken with and the most lovely red and black stiletto heels artwork. I got my picture taken by them both. We found the buffet which looks very nice and not to pricey. My sister spoke with a clerk and she said their menu changes daily based on the delivery.

Finally, it is time to get the pizza. The hallway is lined with record albums and what a treat it was to find some of the ones that my grandma had. The pizza is delish. They have 4-5 choices pre done to pick from. I had the white pizza with ricotta cheese and it was outstanding. Rick managed to eat 4 pieces of pepperoni. Claimed to be one of the best by Rick, my sister and myself. My parents said "samsclub" is just as good and cheaper. GO FIGURE

We head to Aria and decide to see VIVA ELVIS. I had clipped a coupon before we left for $75.00 tickets. I had looked previously at the 1/2 price ticket booths and thought this was as good or better for an offer. We got our tickets for Tuesday night and had excellent seats up front for my dad. My parents enjoyed the show very much and the man that sat next to my mom caught one of the elvis scarves and gave it to her. Very nice show...

Wednesday, Went to the Flamingo gardens. My parents really liked it, my mom saw it last year but this was my dad's first time. Tried to get into the Flamingo pool but it was closed. We did the North Strip going to Riviera and Circus Circus and then back down to to Ellis Island for the bbq . My sister deemed it excellent.

Thursday, grabbed the car and off to Red Rock. I hit for $200 on the diamond ring quarter game. I love that game and stations casinos are the only place I can find them. We had free buffet coupons as well as the 2/4/1 from MRB. Lunch buffet was great and the line moved quickly. With bellies full we went to Red Rock and took the drive around. What a lovely place, I feel so calm and serene there. My neice called and told my mom she was pregnant. She was so excited she just couldn't wait to tell us. The connection was horrible but we managed to hear her conversation.

We went to Bonney Springs just on the other side of Red Rock. What a quaint little place. It was getting chilly so we sat by their fireplace and had a coffee. Loved the peacocks. Time to head back to IP. Gambled some and I hit the WOF 1000 quarters for $250. LOVED IT!!! My sister got free tickets to see Frank Marino's Divas so we went to that show. Sat in the front rows just right of center. What a fun show that was. Just loved watching the impersonators and then met Frank after show.

Friday was moving day and my sister needed to be at the airport. We were going to GVR for the weekend thanks to my friend/host Carol. She was comping the rooms for myself and parents.

Thank you for posting Part III of your report!

Congratulations on your nice wins in this part and it's good that you got to look around some!

I do like ELVIS but I don't know if or when I'll make it over to see Viva Elvis.

And that was nice that your neice was able to tell your mother about her pregnancy during this fun trip!

I'm now off to read Part IV.
