Kicked out of the Bellagio

Danny and Mike used to pull that same shit at the Montecito on slow nights!

Seriously, this does fall into the catagory of pure BS. Unfortunately, as the Gaming reps said, they have the right to ask anyone to leave as long as it's not discriminitory. Actually, any private business has that same right. In most cases it's used for the right reasons. In this case, a particular (or maybe a few) security officers wanted show their "power," even though your explaination was comepletely sensable. The one officer might have realized at some point that she was wrong, but wasn't about to admit it. They can be a funny breed. I've had many work for me over the years in the restaurant/nightclub biz and found many to be serious cop wannabees looking for power. Certainly not all fall into this catagory, but it only takes one or two to make you miserable.

I wish you luck in trying to find some satisfaction in this situation.

Good Luck!

That's ridiculous! I hope that someobody at the Bellagio will eventually make amends.
Maybe we members should start a boycott of playing and/ or staying at Bellagio and MGM until this member has been properly compensated.
that is crazy. pretty much this entire board is in the habit of checking paytables, hell i was checking them at the bellagio last month. so it could have happened to any of us.

i also cant believe they havent responded to you at all.

what jerks.

Though this incident appears be at low end of security problems, you can choose just let it go and move on, but if you feel there's a principle here and worth pursuing, I would also consult a lawyer. Yes, they have the right to trespass you, but they do not have the right to take your license and walk away with it, which consitutes theft on their part (they do not have a policeman's rights or authority).

I would also suggest, you walk up to the Bellagio's Executive offices and ask to see the GM, having already gone through the normal chain of command and receiving no satisfaction. If they refuse to see you, then as one reader suggests: it's time to lawyer up.
Bellagio has been getting very snobby lately. In the past, my wife and I had enjoyed playing VP outside of the Fonatana lounge and listening to the music. I happend to be wearing my cowboy hat and she was wearing jeans and a nice shirt (I did have additional attire on as well)! Anyway, we each put in a hundred. I played max pay, and she was betting three at at a time at $ 1.00 machines. I had to literally flag the bartender over (they were not busy), to get a drink. We each ordered beers. He said he could comp mine but not my wife's, since she was not playing max. She said no problem, I'll up my bet to max. She was told, sorry I'm not going to comp your drink. I stated that between the two of us, we're betting 8 dollars a hand. Can't you serve us each a beer? He emphatically stated no! With this new found business philosophy of chasing customers out of the casino, I'm sure their stock price will explode. We will never play there again! Don't let the incident drop. I hope you hit them where it counts. In the pocketbook!
You might bear in mind that a person checking pay tables might really be checking for unused credits on the machines. But until you prove that to be true they should be able to do nothing more than ask you to leave.
Lots of good advice here zapman. I guess the ball is in your court. Good luck.
there was a successful suit in the last couple years for backrooming a gambler. The belaggio robbery was before or after this incident?
It doesnt excuse any arrogance by a 'mall cop' at bellagio, but you can bet that after the robbery their suits wanted to see some activity by security, and you might have been collateral damage. Or i'm wrong. Good luck!
I'm so sorry, it all my fault.
I hit a quad on the 10 coin quarter progressives, moved over to play while they came to pay me- and FORGOT to haul out my money on the first machine.
Forgive me- i feel terrible that happened to you.
We check pay tables all the time.

I hope time takes the sting out of this incident. I hope you do go back and hit a monster Jackpot.
