Great report. I've gotta get one of those cheese danishes this weekend! Henderson is on my to do list for Saturday. I wish I had known you and Ann were in town, I was there from the 19-22 also. Thanks for all of the information as usual you are a great resource for new places for me to try.

KSHP is a radio station that barters ad time for gift certificates that then sell to the public. The gift certificates are discounted and, unless otherwise state, expire in 90 days. After obtaining a savings card, and providing your credit card, you can purchase certificates at their offices, online or by visiting the twice weekly road show. In addition, there are periodic sales so sign up for emails in order receive notification. The biggest and usually best sale occurs quarterly - early March, June, Sept & Dec. KSHP is very good about issuing a credit for merchants who close or stop honoring certificates, but you don't get your money back but rather a credit for the amount of your purchase. 15 wins out of 22 is still quite decent (that's an over 68% winning percentage) plus it definitely sounds like you've had some pretty inexpensive vacations due to judicious coupon usage and going after good promotions as well!

Thanks - the gambling, win or lose, does not affect my enjoyment of our vacation.

What is a bit deceiving about the 15/22 numbers is we started off winning 9 trips in a row. Eliminating that streak, we drop down to 6 wins out of the last 13 trips - still acceptable. Of far more importance in my mind is we have come out ahead in each of the 8 years since I started keep track. This year we lost money on 2 of our 3 trips, but came out ahead thanks to the one trip when I had 4 royals.

And with that, I have to say that you just never know what may happen at anytime or from trip to trip.
