Las Vegas 2/6-2/11

Next day wazs another stint another stint at Rainbow Club and Emerald islandd for some great food and I lost $20 for a great meal at the "1000 Thanks" emerald island restaurant to get me going. It was then off to Gold Mine tavern for a $20 match play as advertised on the LVA websitge.  I got in on the deal, won $30 (including my $20 staKE), then left $10 ahead. Gambling at emerald island and rainbow club was uneventful, but I did earn enough to get dinner on the house, and da  Filet Mignon if I wanted.

Next day was a visit that PM to the beach hose bar for "play 100 get a wheel spin." I headed out there and they are at the corner of the shopping mall. On my occasion I got $15 and was happy to do so consideing and expected loss of $4. A Good profit consdering and I was on my way. Back to South Point now after a loss and then thingsx turned around. First was wheel poker at 8.75 a spin. Nothing until I got a "quick quad" dealt to me for over $400 to stem the loss for a $60 profit. Video poker, blackjack, an d slots would prove overall uneventfull, but with that quck quad I would finish $60 ahead for the night. Bowling was uneventful at a disappointin 110 overall.

The next morning it was rise and shine at Soouth Point and then another bottomless offee at Peppermill with the sam 4.25 bet. If you didn't notice, the day after I was there was when they got rid of their $20 and $10 per bet and now it's only $5 max. My favorite bartender from times past had left depite saying he loved vegas and was happy to serve at the Peppermill at year 10 and now it was someone else. Nevertheless, I was able to ge tthe coffe I wasnted for just the price of a tip and got two Stright Flushes! for almost 80 dollars total to finish almost $70 ahead with the bottomles mug! I remmeber someone saing we got a big better here fill the register. I'l wondering if that had something to do with it. I went this time to Jackson's bar for dinner, promptly lost $30, but got a delicious steak special on the house, which was a Win! After tip, my steak was almost $40, but if I won, I woldn've tippe anyway. Then it was off to the Rio where I ilost 80 dollars on the slots and then got 15 on the free bet thanks to LVA to "only" lose 65 dollars. Then it was off to bed!

Good mornign Las Vegas! Another trip to the peppermill as it's on the way and another bottomless pot of coffee for me. After losing $10, I went to the Eureka to use the $25 coupon and eat at Fat Choy and found myself the object of attention when I got four deuces! Needless to say I was in the cat bird seat after that and had no troble with the bao and again with the LVA coupon. A great bit of luck then it was off to Binions for a $10 free play where I promptly redeemed it for $6.50 then left. I then went to the Mint tavern for a mocktail and finished $10 in the plus after learning they are part of a chain now called Parkway Tavern.

The next day South Point did not disappoint. I was at the good times pay three hand poker and got four deuces and then got four deuces gain at the spin poker to put me in the pluis. Then I found out I could have a 200 dollar Silverado steakhouse dinner but decide to wait until the future to use it as I might be coming back. If I come back, I'll; tell you about it later. I ended up breaking Even at south point even after considering my six night stay there and the free bies beside. All in all it was a great experience expecially thanks to the LVA.

Great report! Thanks for sharing!

Excellent Report!  You had a good trip and ate well.  Appreciate the info on the Peppermill.

Very nice report.  Thanks!

Nice trip report, we have always had good luck at the Peppermill, and is a good option if you are near the strip.

I love the way you broke your report up by day, easier on the eyes.  Super TR!
