Antennanut, I can't remember if they had HGTV, but I know what you mean.  Amazingly, Harrah's Laughlin even has MT, the Motor Trend channel, formerly Velocity, (all cars all the time) which is a plus for my husband to accompany me on trips.  Bellagio has MT, Wynn does not.  Those are like a kid's toy keeping a guy (or gal, I guess) entertained if they are into car restorations, auctions, etc.

 

Jeff, we loved Cops as well.  I miss the theme song, recorded by The Inner Circle.  Wonder how much IC made on that recording, if they didn't stupidly sign their rights away for a few dollars.  We can occasionally catch Cops on the Paramount channel.  Used to also be on another channel that Comcast gleefully snatched off our list.  Damn.  But Live PD and their many offshoots are very good.  They give the follow up to many of the incidents, whether arrested, jailed, let go, etc.
