Just a quick update of life on the FSE...
Golden Gate removed the piano!! But are considering bringing it back..
The "new" rooms are nice.
Plaza is completely blocked off. Damn tease.
Hit a $300 payout on WOF at GG. Nice...
Relaxing at Vanguard Lounge having a cocktail now. Hip and trendy. Good drinks..
About to play at EL Co...

And I love me some Single-Deck 3 To 2 paying Blackjack at El Cortez! But if you play that, I do not recommend making the "Royal Match" side bet. That offers a casino advantage of almost 4% (that's what the Wizard Of Odds says about the game).

Well DuPars is a Southern California institution and people tend to rave especially about their pancakes.

As a matter of fact, I heard the other day that the original location (by Studio City, California) just had some big anniversary and only it was serving a stack of Pancakes for whatever the original price of them were (I forget what it was but it was something pretty cheap)!

Too bad about El Cortez being slammed and your losing -- I usually do pretty well there (for Blackjack and Video Poker)!

Another quick update. Tuscany was dead. Couldn't even win if I had a "21".
Ellis Island. Great for boozing. Bad for the low roller with a limited budget.
Drinks were stiff and lunch was cheap. Score. Kinda..

FYI, the piano has been gone from Golden Gate for MANY months, maybe even over a year.

Makes sense. I haven't been to Vegas in over a year.
IP was packed. And the slots are now filled with my money.
