LVH

I just got back from a stay that included 3 nights at the LV Hotel (formerly LV Hilton). It was alarmingly slow at the hotel, even during the week-end. This has been one of my go to hotels for a long time because it's a decent hotel for a good price, so I hope that it can get itself back on track! The room was still perfectly fine and I didn't have any issues.

The last time I stayed there about 2 yrs ago it was very dead. They didn't even have a casino bar open in the wee hours of the morning. In my opinion, there isn't anything to like about this place. I would not stay there again.

I was there right before the switch, and it was bustling. Very busy.

Makes me wonder if its just time of year, or if Non-Hilton will be the death-knell?

I still get 4 nites a month & $100 FP. One of these days will give it another shot, and see
whats the happs.

Anyone else been there since the switch?

Was there two weeks prior to the switch and I am back week after next.

I told them the value of the HHonors and they all laughed...love staying there and I get there 4 to 5 times a year.....don't see how they make it without HHonors....most of us that are Diamond with HHonors won't give up the amneities when we can go next door to Grand Vacations...it is a real bummer.

I am Hilton Gold, liked the free upgrades, express check in, buffet line pass and free workout.

I am a little nervous...I was there last week.....I am there frequetly on business.....it was dead....they are honoring HHonors through the end of March and it is already hurting.

That said....they have people in there restoring and renovating many areas which leads me to believe there is an investor out there that realizes what a gold mine this property is with the business traveler.

Where else do you get access to so many business travelers that are not budget concious and have no clue what a decent game is when it comes to gambling.

I think the money is starting to line up.

I really hope so!

Just got back. Hilton Honors perks are gone at the end of this month.

Was crazy busy there last week with the games St Patty's Day and Spring Break but a lot of uncertainty on the future.
