Mainly Magic Dec 19$20 and Dec 29th.

We decided to stop in Las Vegas on the way to visit our son and his faimly. John hit 4 aces the first few minutes. It took me a little longer, but by the end of the day I had 4 sets of four of kind aces. Also had 17 scratch off tickets at MSS.
We had such a great win, decided to go the next day to the bank and deposit some of it. Near Green Valley Ranch is a branch of our bank. So of course we stopped at Green Valley Ranch for a while. I enjoy the no smoking video poker. Found a couple of extra action poker machines. Had never played them and wanted to try my luck. Was dealt two aces and filled two more for a 1000 quarter win, then was dealt one ace and filled 4 nines on extra action hands for another 1000 quarters. John and I decided that was good enough and cashed in our $500 winner.
Stopped to enjoy the Christmas decorations at the Ballagio. The penquins skating were really cute.
Returned to MSS and continued hitting enough 4of kinds to have another winning day. Enjoyed a great supper in the 777 brewclub, comped, and headed to bed. Our last morning we rose early and played for an hour. Filled a couple more 4 of kinds. I think it was the first time I won on every day of a trip. Enjoyed a wonderful omelet from the buffet and continued our trip to Oregon, $2000 richer without even hitting a royal.
After enjoying a wonderful Christmas holiday with my brother and his whole family and my son and his,
we talked it over and decided to spend one more night at Las Vegas on the way home. My mother laughed and said "You want to give some of the winnings back don't you?" So called up MSS and got another free room for Dec 29th. Ok I admit it, I did lose a bit. This time though John got lucky and filled a $.50 royal flush. What a trip. Now I can't wait for my next trip.

Maybe you can explain to your mother that the more that you play in a smart way with games that in and of themselves or, in combination with a good enough slot club return, the more likely you are to end up with a positive result!

And so yes, although I can not deny that there is some luck involved, the smarter that a person plays, the more likely that they will end up being at the machine long enough for something good to happen (instead of running out of money sooner due to poor play).

Mary, I really enjoyed your TR. Congrats on the super wins especially the $.50 royal. I also got a $.50 royal at the Borgata in AC on Dec. 29th.

It was nice that you were able to enjoy Vegas as well as the time spent with your family. That was some traveling.

I hope we meet in a couple weeks in Vegas as you had posted on the meets forum. I think we could have some interesting conversation.
