Mar. 13-19: Fun @ MGM, Orleans, All-Stage Pass

Thanks for the great report. I think I'll add George Wallace to our April trip for a good late night show
Thanks for the TR I was especially eager to hear about your success with the ALL STAGE PASS as the Dear Hubby and I are really considering buying this during our Memorial week vacation. My only worry is that there are a lot of Vegas holiday visitors that week and that we won't get the full potential out of the pass. Thanks again for the thorough description.

You did amazing job of the all-stage passes.

and as far as writing a TR-- 5 stars!!!

Like you, I like moving around.

You are a couponamist indeed/ well done and bravo
excellent writing and reading. You made a rainy cold Thursday morning at work much more appealing
Let me add to the chorus in that you did a wonderful job on your report. Really enjoyed it.

When Port O' Calls was remodeled a few years ago, it was really considered a great low-roller deal; however, since then, the "suits" decided it needed to make a profit, so over the past couple years, many of the better dishes were removed, and desserts were outsourced rather than made on the premises. Most will agree with you...it's no longer on the "foodie's list" along with the horrible Terrible's buffet and the infamous Circus Circus, which remains the butt of buffet jokes since it opened.

I am not aware of any way to get into the Bellagio Self Parking without the strip entrance. The Flamingo Self Parking entrance was closed after the 9/11 tragedy and in order to funnel all the cars through the one checkpoint (that they still man interestingly enough ten years later), the only way to get into it is from the Strip. I will add, however, that once you do get into the parking structure, it's one of the easiest to negotiate and to get right into the casino...very well designed that others have followed.

I'm not a big show lover so the All Show Pass would be wasted on me. Seeing that many shows in such a short time would be sensory overload for me, but I think you did an amazing job of taking the best advantage for both the shows and your food coupons. Certainly a "low roller of the year" finalist.

What a great trip...

Thanks!

I don't think there is a "sneak route" to the Bellagio self park. we like to avoid Strip access as well and tend to use the valet at Bills parking garage (from Paradise to Flamingo) and walk over on the pedestrian overpasses when we visit the Bellagio fountains. There is an entrance to the Bellagio shops (& thence the casino) on that corner as well.

thanks for the fun & informative report -- joining the choir singing praise to your run of shows with the 24 hr pass!
